Gevo knows the farms in our supply shed and the history of that land. We also know most of our customers will never get to shake a grower’s hand or walk those fields. So we didn’t ask them to take our word for it.
We engaged EcoEngineers to independently assess land use change across the Gevo North Dakota supply shed. Their finding: GND meets EU RED II sustainable biomass sourcing criteria, and the “facility’s corn demand has not induced material local land-use change.”
